Receptionist - Rockwell Center

Description

The Daily Living Centers, located in Oklahoma City is a not-for-profit organization committed to be Oklahoma’s leader in quality, affordable adult day health services and independent living services delivered with dignity.

The Daily Living Centers are an Adult Day Health care program developed to be the perfect solution for caregivers who are searching for alternative care for their loved ones with special needs. Most importantly, our program offers individuals the opportunity to be socially and physically active in an environment that is enjoyable, comfortable, and stimulating.


Job Duties Include:

  • Greet participants, visitors, volunteers, staff, and vendors upon their arrival

  • Check in participants upon their arrival to the center

  • Check participants out upon their departure from the center

  • Collect participant co-pays via DHS electronic card swipe system

  • Answer multi-line phone system for all center departments and personnel

  • Direct calls, take detailed messages, and distribute messages via e-mail or hand delivery

  • Design and prep various publishing documents

  • Maintain office supplies

  • Maintain Visitors Log

  • Assist staff in various administrative and activity program needs

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Positive and professional attitude towards participants, co-workers and families

  • Ability to work in a flexible and changing environment

  • Ability to work with elderly and disabled persons

  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, Computer usage, phone management skills

  • Organized, detail oriented, and good verbal and written communications skills


Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Special Requirements:

  • Pass Background Check and Drug Screening

  • Must take Tuberculosis test

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - Rockwell Center

We are now hiring a DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS for our agency. The Daily Living Centers are an Adult Day Health care program developed to be the perfect solution for caregivers who are searching for alternative care for their loved ones with special needs. Most importantly, our program offers your loved ones the opportunity to be socially and physically active in an environment that is enjoyable, comfortable, and stimulating.

The Daily Living Center has a total of four facilities which serve Oklahoma City and surrounding metro areas. The centers average 145 individuals per day. We are committed to providing the highest quality day health care in providing opportunities for social interaction and medical monitoring to those who may require a more structured and protective environment. Our adult day health care programs are here to help by offering the following services:

Requirements

Job Duties Include:

  • Manage and direct daily operations of the four Daily Living Centers, Inc. locations

  • Oversees, leads, and coordinates the functions of Participant Care with the Social Services Coordinator, Center Directors, and Registered Nurse

  • Represents the organization effectively in community and governmental affairs

  • Interface and guides clients and families to determine care availability, accessibility, and type

  • Manages the organizations Human Resource program and personnel

  • Ensure policies and directives are adhered to by subordinates

  • Provides leadership & management for subordinates, including feedback & evaluations

  • Provide a voice for elderly care at State Agencies and the Legislature when directed

  • Establishes financial goals and ensures assets are maintained and protected

  • Establishes operational and organizational policy and procedures

  • Measures the impact of policy and procedural decisions on client care

  • Creates and meets operational goals and operational data measurement, measures systems to ensure high performance

  • Administers agency inspections and certifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in directing large scale operations and/or multiple locations of an Aging or Disabled Services or similar health care services organization

  • Must meet Oklahoma State requirements for and be licensed or able to be a Long-Term Care Administrator, in addition to CPR and first Aid certifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Aging services agency is preferred

  • Working knowledge of Aging Services State and Federal contracts, obligations and legal requirements

  • Public speaking experience preferred

  • Professional and Positive attitude a must

  • Development and administration of policies and procedures for an Aging Services agency

  • Experience in managing organizational Human Resource policies and staffing regulations

  • Knowledge of employment laws and requirements highly preferred

  • Understand financial and budget impacts of a large-scale organization

  • Experience managing organizational assets, supplies and equipment

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with the staff, participants, and their families and fosters teamwork among employees
  • Other duties as assigned by the President of the Daily Living Centers Inc.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Post-Graduate degree from an accredited university

Special Requirements:

  • Current CPR, First Aid Certification

  • Lifts, carries, pushes equipment supplies or patients exceeding 25 pounds
